All members of the USC community are encouraged to review the information and resources below.

As the entire USC community works to support and listen to our students and alumnae who are former patients of Dr. George Tyndall, we wish to reiterate our sincere apology to any individuals impacted. We are taking great care to respond to all persons individually, and to make sure that everyone is receiving our full support.

As expressed by Chief Health Officer for USC Student Health, Dr. Sarah Van Orman, “Our commitment to you – our students – is outstanding, professional health care, and I will not tolerate anything less in our university student health centers.”

The university has made, and continues to make, significant changes to our student health centers. In August 2017, as Dr. Van Orman arrived at the university, USC integrated student health into our academic medical center. That increased oversight, professionalized care and brought the resources of our academic medical center to provide the best services to our students.

As we work to appropriately respond to former patients of the student health center, we will continue to update this site. Former patients of Dr. Tyndall are encouraged to share their experiences or concerns by calling this dedicated number: (833) 889-8833 or by visiting the following website, USC COMPLIANCE REPORTING.

Ensuring the wellbeing of our students is at the very core of our academic community; we are committed to the transparency, appropriate action and accountability that our community deserves.
